PETA Offers $5,000 Reward for Monster Who Dumped Postpartum Dog in a Suitcase to Die

The desperate search for the person who zipped a terrified dog inside a suitcase and dumped her in a Washington trash bin has taken a disturbing new twist, after investigators confirmed the young pit bull mix (now known as “Binny”) had recently given birth.

The revelation has sent shockwaves through Everett, where police and animal welfare groups are now racing not only to find her abuser, but to locate her missing puppies.

Binny Had Recently Given Birth

Binny’s case horrified the community from the moment she was discovered tied, trapped, and left to die in a dumpster on Evergreen Way.

But detectives confirmed a detail this week that has made an already sickening act of cruelty even harder to comprehend: Binny is a new mother.

Veterinary staff at the Everett Animal Shelter determined she was postpartum, having given birth just two to four weeks before being bound with rope and discarded like trash.

The finding has escalated fears for the fate of her litter, believed to be gray or blue pit bull mix puppies born around mid-November.

Authorities say the puppies were separated from their mother during a critical nursing period, raising urgent concerns about whether they are alive, where they were taken, and who may be hiding them.

PETA Steps In With Cash Reward

In a bid to crack the case, PETA has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.

Detectives say the person who dumped Binny committed a felony and may still have the missing puppies, heightening the importance of public assistance.

Residents are being urged to think back to mid-November and report anyone who suddenly sold, acquired, or advertised a litter of gray or blue pit bull pups matching that timeframe.

She Could Be Cleared for Adoption This Week

While the manhunt intensifies, Binny’s survival has stunned those caring for her.

When she arrived at the shelter, the young dog was in far worse condition than initially revealed: she was vomiting blood, suffering from severe rope abrasions, and showing signs consistent with prolonged abuse.

Yet despite the trauma, staff say Binny has shown remarkable resilience. She is gaining weight, growing stronger by the day, and revealing a gentle, affectionate personality that has quickly won hearts inside the facility.

If her recovery continues, she could be medically cleared for adoption as early as this week.

How the Public Can Help

Detectives are now pleading for anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward.

Witnesses who saw someone with newborn pit bull puppies around November 17, anyone aware of suspicious sales or transfers of a litter, or anyone who recognised the suitcase dumped on the 8800 block of Evergreen Way may hold the key to solving the case.

Tips can be anonymous, and could be worth $5,000.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Everett Police’s non-emergency line at 425-407-3999.
